A true friend is always available without having to go out of way!
Poems' from the family
An anthology of poems from the family, mostly written in free verse. However, as T.S Eliot said, no verse is free for the man who wants to do a good job!

Love
You hold me in your arms,
A familiar feeling, I swear.
Fallen by your angel charms,
Taken by your tender care.
I think about the pain,
That our heart has seen.
But none too many in vain,
Our trust, it didn't wean.
Your spell still unbroken,
You weave your magic over me.
Not to be woken,
From this dream I see.
Every passing day we share,
I am glad that you are mine.
I know you are truly rare,
Like a diamond with its sparkling shine.
Together we know life,
To be a beautiful gift.
Our love, to end all strife,
As we, from dream to dream drift.
A thousand traits does love possess,
Through trials it must hold fast.
But of all the most precious,
Is that, it must, forever last.
A familiar feeling, I swear.
Fallen by your angel charms,
Taken by your tender care.
I think about the pain,
That our heart has seen.
But none too many in vain,
Our trust, it didn't wean.
Your spell still unbroken,
You weave your magic over me.
Not to be woken,
From this dream I see.
Every passing day we share,
I am glad that you are mine.
I know you are truly rare,
Like a diamond with its sparkling shine.
Together we know life,
To be a beautiful gift.
Our love, to end all strife,
As we, from dream to dream drift.
A thousand traits does love possess,
Through trials it must hold fast.
But of all the most precious,
Is that, it must, forever last.
Wistful
There it stood in a corner,
How it thrilled my little princess,
How she balanced those tiny wheels,
Rickety and rusted,
Years of neglect, never-ever dusted,
Its bright red fender, now all faded,
Years of neglect, never-ever dusted,
Its bright red fender, now all faded,
With little pedals worn and jaded.
It feels like only yesterday,How it thrilled my little princess,
How she balanced those tiny wheels,
How it made me so proud,
As she gracefully rode it out,
Its odd this forgotten souvenir,
Evokes memories so warm,
Those broken chains of love,
Still seem to be holding strong!
One day I will have it mended,
And pass this treasure to a little one,
To begin memories anew,
And generations of joy!
As she gracefully rode it out,
Its odd this forgotten souvenir,
Evokes memories so warm,
Those broken chains of love,
Still seem to be holding strong!
One day I will have it mended,
And pass this treasure to a little one,
To begin memories anew,
And generations of joy!

Pretty little bird
Once, I beheld a pretty bird,
A delicate little creature,
With enchanting wings,
Stroked with colorful shades,
Pursued by an endearing plume,
Of a brilliant nondescript hue,
Singing in a honeyed voice,
Not loud, not incessant,
Steadily, holding my admiring gaze,
Astonishing a creature such,
Can evolve without a divine touch?
A delicate little creature,
With enchanting wings,
Stroked with colorful shades,
Pursued by an endearing plume,
Of a brilliant nondescript hue,
Singing in a honeyed voice,
Not loud, not incessant,
Steadily, holding my admiring gaze,
Astonishing a creature such,
Can evolve without a divine touch?

Regret
Living life in vain
Seeking pleasures inane
Carrying on the charade
Faking laughter we masquerade
Bad choices are easy made
Turning to memories that don't fade
Pretending to fathom love so well
Yet on unforgiveness we dwell
For generations retain
All that anguish, hurt and pain
Yet wanting not to forget
From cradle to grave we regret
Seeking pleasures inane
Carrying on the charade
Faking laughter we masquerade
Bad choices are easy made
Turning to memories that don't fade
Pretending to fathom love so well
Yet on unforgiveness we dwell
For generations retain
All that anguish, hurt and pain
Yet wanting not to forget
From cradle to grave we regret
What More To Ask?
What glorious light
Than the shining sun
What heavenly assortment
Than the starlit night
What colourful palette
Than the stretching rainbow
What melodious song
Than the rustling leaves
What splendid display
Than the wildflower beds
What joyous soul
Than the dancing breeze
What true a friend
Than my spirit within
What greater gift
Than this breath of life
Than the shining sun
What heavenly assortment
Than the starlit night
What colourful palette
Than the stretching rainbow
What melodious song
Than the rustling leaves
What splendid display
Than the wildflower beds
What joyous soul
Than the dancing breeze
What true a friend
Than my spirit within
What greater gift
Than this breath of life

Dreams
Consider those dreams,
Fading into realities realms,
Woken up to a harsh truth,
Razed by some skeptics deem!
Consider the blue skies,
Painted far and wide,
Or the Lilies growing wild,
By some mountain side!
Consider the stars strung,
Across the velvety night,
Or the glimmering lake,
Shown in the moonlight!
Consider the mountains,
Carpeted by even trees,
Or the boughs swaying,
To some gentle breeze!
Consider those wisps of cloud,
Curled at their end,
Or the beautiful rainbow,
In the firmament, as they bend.
Consider these splendid facts,
Now cast in living view,
Never is a dream given,
If you can’t make it true!
Fading into realities realms,
Woken up to a harsh truth,
Razed by some skeptics deem!
Consider the blue skies,
Painted far and wide,
Or the Lilies growing wild,
By some mountain side!
Consider the stars strung,
Across the velvety night,
Or the glimmering lake,
Shown in the moonlight!
Consider the mountains,
Carpeted by even trees,
Or the boughs swaying,
To some gentle breeze!
Consider those wisps of cloud,
Curled at their end,
Or the beautiful rainbow,
In the firmament, as they bend.
Consider these splendid facts,
Now cast in living view,
Never is a dream given,
If you can’t make it true!
